Enjoyable offering. A bit washed out, but watchable. Liked all the verbal/visual "easter eggs" in modern parlance i.e. the fireworks/I werks canopy and others. Just glad theres a place to come see things like this.

The film itself has MGM appear in the credits.
Metro-Goldwyn Mayer - a commons license seems dubious.

Subject: Special Guest Star: Amelia Earhart
Willie Whopper, the perennial prevaricator, spins a yarn about how he won the national air race and got the trophy (and a kiss!) from the then-alive Amelia Earhart. A bit washed out an fuzzy but the sound is ok.

I love the scene of St. Peter giving someone "the bird." I don't think this cartoon was intended for children.
